Dr L H Hiranandani Hospital is a 134 bedded tertiary and quaternary care hospital located at the picturesque Hiranandani gardens at Powai, Mumbai. The hospital is poised to expand to 200 beds and will be adding on additional services to enhance healthcare delivery.
Specialization
Interventional Cardiology – Arguably the hospital has one of the most vibrant program for Primary Angioplasty in Myocardial Infarction (PAMI). This was the only hospital in the continent of Asia to have contributed to the US FDA study in Robotic Arm Angioplasty. For the first time, the Robotic Arm was brought to India and utilized with absolute precision in placement of cardiac stent.
Department of Orthopedics – This department today is recognized as a centre that leads the field in the realm of joint replacements. Computer navigation, minimal access joint replacement surgeries, hip resurfacing surgeries as well as focus on the field of sports medicine have created a vibrancy that ensures patients from the length and breadth of the country to come to the hospital for therapy.
Department of Human Reproduction – This has the distinction of having performed the first transnational surrogacy in which an Indian mother gave birth to a Chinese baby.
